Our Work and Services

The STOP program prevents pet overpopulation by providing low-cost, quality spay/neuter services to Hutchinson and South Hutchinson pet owners in need of assistance.

Adopt your new best friend from the Hutchinson Animal Shelter. You’ll receive a friend for life and a pet that is healthy, happy, and fully vaccinated. Our pets are microchipped and spayed or neutered.

The Hutchinson Dog Park is at 1501 S. Severance St. where dogs can socialize off-leash.

Members are the keys to our mission ensuring the well-being of cats and dogs and reducing overpopulation. Membership fees are a great way to show your support.

Support our mission through a donation or memorial gift for a loved one. Your gift will expand access to pet care for fellow animal lovers in need and make our community a better place by reducing pet overpopulation.

Hope for Hutchinson is a pet foster program for pet owners in rehabilitative programs who are temporarily unable to care for their fur babies.

Volunteer to be a pet foster parent and take home an animal in need of a little TLC. Foster homes are a safe, healthy, and happy alternative for shelter pets who need a little extra help before adoption.

Calling animal lovers and aspiring pet photographers (we’ve seen your Instagram)! Our volunteers fill a vital need and you can choose your hours – from daily to special occasions only.
